SAFE SHIPPING OF BARE FIXED BLADEs

Not giving a thought of how to package sharp objects for mail delivery is a careless disregard for safety of anyone who handles your package.

Already too many of you sent unprotected fixed bare blades through the mail system, not realizing the severity of the problem.
The fixed blade knives are particularly dangerous as the sharp tips cut through any packaging, and while sticking out can and will cut anyone's hand while picking it up (Latest arrival - see at right).
It is a nature of mail package handling that it is brutally rough, packages are thrown about, dropped into bins and shipping containers etc.
The weight of the knife is enough to force it through heaviest cardboard box if only wrapped in newspapers or other wrapping materials used for normal non-sharp objects.
