A note - Manufacturers are in business of manufacturing, not repairing.
Some will replace your knife with a new one, some may have inhouse repair service.
Parts for knives may be available only for the knife models currently on the assembly line - in production.
Does not cost a thing to ask.
You can contact the manufacturer directly for all warranty and repair issues.
I suggest that you would obtain any required Return, or Service Authorization number for your
warranty or service work, before you ship your knife.
I strongly recommend that you mail your knife insured by registerd mail, Fedex, or any other method which has guarantied delivery and tracking numbers in case of loss.
It came to my attention from the former employee of switchblade knife manufacturing company that:
If the knife is a switchblade made by one of the companies listed bellow, you cannot mail the switchblade through the US Postal Service. It is illegal.
A switchblade has to be returned through UPS or FedEx or a company like these, and a physical address must be used, not a PO box. It is a federal law.
Of course where all these efforts fail, you can look for the professional knife repairman on the net, or in location near you.
